The Cable Franchise Renewal Committee held a public hearing on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 to obtain public comment on the Renewal of the Cable Franchise Agreement between the Town of Goffstown and Comcast. The Committee will continue to accept written comments submitted by August 9, 2011 regarding the following items:

  • Comcast’s management & technical expertise, financial capability, and legal ability to operate a cable system;
  • Comcast's compliance with the material terms of the existing franchise and with applicable law;
  • The quality of the Comcast's service, including signal quality, and response to consumer complaints; and
  • The future cable-related needs and interests of the community.
