PUBLIC NOTICE
GOFFSTOWN ZONING BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT
There will be a public
hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday,
September 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mildred Stark Room located in the
Goffstown Town Hall,
16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH 03045 to review the following applications:
(Continued
from August 5, 2008 mtg.) Negash Abdelkader, applicant, is seeking a special
exception to allow a small animal processing facility to process animal
products for religious purposes. The proposed processing facility be 1,500 sq
ft. Section 3.10.J.6 of the Zoning Ordinance authorizes the special exception.
The property is located at 83
Joppa Hill Road (Map 2, Lot
20) in an Agricultural District.
Linda
& Michael Levasseur, applicants, are seeking a time extension for a special
exception previously granted by the ZBA.
On October 5, 2004 the ZBA granted a special exception allowing the
construction of a single-family dwelling on a non-conforming lot. The special
exception was extended two years on June 6, 2006 until October 5, 2008. Section 15.3.2.3 of the Zoning Ordinance
authorizes the time extension. Property
is located off Portage Road
(Map 9, Lot 43-8) in an Agricultural District.
John
Yianakopolos, applicant, is seeking a variance from the mandatory use of open
space development, Section 13.5.3.1 of the Zoning Ordinance. The applicant is
proposing a two-lot subdivision of an existing 68-acre parcel, which will
create a 2.01-acre parcel and the remaining 66-acre parcel. Section 13.5.3.1 of
the Ordinance requires open space developments for the subdivision of lots in
excess of 20-acres in the Agricultural District. The applicant is also seeking
a variance from Section 13.3.4 of the Ordinance that requires wetland
delineation of the entire lot to be subdivided. The applicant is seeking to
limit the wetland delineation to the area of the 2.01-acre parcel and the
wetlands on the remaining 66-acre parcel would not be delineated. The property
is located at 138 Addison Road
(Map 2, Lot 62) in an Agricultural District.
