38th Annual David French Goffstown Gallop

Where: Course begins and ends at the Goffstown Recreation Center
Awards: 1st and 2nd place awards in each category for Residents and Non-Residents
Cost: $15.00 Pre - Registration (Deadline for pre-registration 12:00 noon Friday, June 23rd) - $20.00 day of race.

  • Start on road way located at (Rt.114) 155 S. Mast St. - heading West
  • Left onto Rt. 13 / New Boston Rd
  • Left onto Bog Rd.
  • Left onto Lesnyk Rd. (water station)
  • Bear left onto Mt. Rd.
  • Right onto S. Mast Rd / 114 - heading East to Parks and Recreation Building (water station)
  • Left onto Blue Jay Lane - Ending in Recreation parking lot

Online Registrations!

Parks & Recreation has moved to online registrations for all programs! Please follow the below instructions to register for all programs.
Program registration steps:
  1. Go to Registration Link @ https://goffstown.recdesk.com/community
  2. Set up a user profile for you and all family members that will be participating in a program now or in the future
  3. Wait for approval from the Parks & Recreation Department
  4. After approval you will receive an email confirming that your online account has beenapproved.
  5. At this point you are now ready to register for programs as they become available.(WE WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING PAPER REGISTRATIONS)
    • When registering a child for a program please remember to use their (Participants)name -this is why you need to set up a profile for all family members.
  6. After you register for a program you will receive an invoice via email.
  7. Print invoice and return to Parks & Recreation with your payment(payable to Town of Goffstown), either mail or hand deliver (Mailing Address: 16 Main Street,Goffstown, NH 03045)
  8. If you register for a program that does not have a fee then you will not have to send in the invoice.

Youth Lacrosse

Parks & Recreation Lacrosse registration is now open. 2017 Teams this year include: Girls 10U, Girls 12U, Girls 14U, Boys 10U, Boys 12U & Boys 14U. Deadline to register for the 10U, 12U& 14U teams is 2/24/17. Visit spring programs for more program info. All program registrations are now done online through the recdesk website. Registration info is listed above. If you have any questions please call Parks & Recreation at 497-8990 X402.

Free Yoga

Free Yoga - An Invitation to All Golden Agers
Misty Brisiel will be hosting FREE yoga classes on Fridays, 10:15 AM beginning December 2nd. Misty is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor. The classes will be held at the Parks and Recreation Department located at 16 Main Street Goffstown, NH 03045.
Who is it for? Well, Yoga is for everyone! Yes, really. You do not have to be flexible or be able to touch your toes. Benefits of Yoga include:*builds strength increases flexibility,*lubricates joints improves balance relaxes the body *improves concentration *betters bone health protects the spine boosts immune system provides peace of mind, *encourages self-care *encourages healthy lifestyle

Bone Builders

Bone Builders Strengthening Seniors one class at a time: Bone Builders is a strength training and balance exercise program to prevent and reverse osteoporosis. Participants are encouraged to call Parks & Recreation to register(497-8990 X402). This class helps build bone density & improves balance, weights will be provided. This program is free and all are encouraged to attend. Bone Builders is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 9th and will take place on Mondays & Wednesdays 10am at the Parks & Recreation Building.
