The Goffstown Cable Television Community Access Committee would like to welcome all potential producers, sponsors, and viewers to the exciting world of community television. As residents of Goffstown, you automatically qualify to take advantage of the resources of the Goffstown Community Television center and cable channel 16. This means you may use professional, broadcast-quality, video production equipment to write, shoot, and edit your own television shows and cablecast them to the entire town. In addition, the staff at the Community Television Center will fully train you in the technology and techniques of simple video production, provide you with videotape and accessories, and even assist you in finding other community producers to help you with your projects.

Our Mission
The video production center and the public cable channel provide the citizens of the town with a means of self expression and information exchange. All residents of Goffstown are invited to participate as producers, patrons, sponsors, and/or viewers.

The staff at Goffstown Community Television will train you in the technology and techniques of simple video production, provide you with recording equipment and accessories for field taping, and even assist you in finding other community producers who may be willing to assist you with your projects.

History
GTV started life in 1992 with the creation of Goffstown Cable Television Communnity Access Committee. The members on the original committee were: Janet Bartels, Chris Beaudoin, Doug Gove, David Kimball, Debbie Koczela, Karen McRae, Rene Millson, Sue Trembly, and Morris Wynne. After months of hard work by the committee and with funds from United Cable, equipment was purchased and GTV40 went on the air in 1994.

GTV changed to channel 16 on the cable system in 1999 with the change over to Continental Cable. In 2002 channel 22 became the second GTV channel used for hosting just Government meetings.
