PUBLIC NOTICE
Division of Involuntarily Merged Lots (NH RSA 674:39-aa)
Lots or parcels involuntarily merged prior to September 18, 2010, shall at the request of the owner, be restored to their premerger status and all zoning and tax maps shall be updated to identify the premerger boundaries of said lots or parcels as recorded at the appropriate registry of deeds, provided:
(a) The request is submitted to the Board of Selectmen prior to December 31, 2016.
(b) No owner in the chain of title voluntarily merged his or her lots. If any owner in the chain of title voluntarily merged his or her lots, then all subsequent owners shall be estopped from requesting restoration. “Voluntarily merged'' means a merger under NH RSA 674:39-a, or any overt action or conduct that indicates an owner regarded said lots as merged such as, but not limited to, abandoning a lot line.
The restoration of the lots to their premerger status shall not be deemed to cure any non-conformity with existing local land use ordinances.

POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE
Goffstown Police are investigating a report of a robbery of a Manchester man in the parking lot of Ollie’s Restaurant, at the corner of Mast Rd. and Henriette St. The incident was reported on December 12, 2011 at about 2:00 a.m. The victim was walking from Henriette St., through the parking lot of Ollie’s to go to the Cumberland Farms on Mast Rd. The victim reported that two men approached him and punched him several times in the face, knocking him to the ground. The suspects left the area on foot. The victim called for help and while being treated by the fire department for his injuries he realized his wallet was missing, which included cash. The only description of one of the suspects is a male, being 5’10 to 5’11 and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. The description of the second suspect in not known.
On December 12, 2011 at about 11:48 pm officers came across at Goffstown resident walking on Mast Rd. who had a bloody face. An investigation led officers to find that the subject was assaulted by two males, who were accompanied by a female. The victim was hit several times in the head but was able to fight back and the suspects in this case fled the area. The assault occurred in the area of Mast Road and Pinard St. The only description of the suspects is two are male and one was wearing a white sweat shirt. The victim had minor injuries and was not treated by emergency personnel.

POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE
Goffstown Police arrested Justin Cassidy, 21, of Hillsboro for DWI and possession of a controlled drug. On December 11, 2011 at 1:58 a.m. an officer came across Cassidy's vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection of North Mast St at High St. Cassidy appeared to be slumped over the steering wheel when officers made contact with him. After performing field sobriety tests, Cassidy was arrested for DWI. A search of Cassidy found a large amount of marijuana on him. Cassidy was process and released and will appear in the Goffstown District Court on January 26, 2012. |

The Goffstown Police Department wishes to remind residents of the existing Town Ordinance on Alarm Systems. The alarm permits are valid from January 1st to December 31st each year. Alarm permits must be re-submitted for approval prior to December 31st of 2011. There is NO FEE to obtain an alarm permit.
Article III, Section 300.1, titled Alarm Ordinance, states that no person shall install, maintain or operate an alarm system in the Town of Goffstown without obtaining a permit. Any person who operates an alarm system without first obtaining a permit as required by this ordinance, or who operates an alarm system when such permit has been revoked shall be guilty of a violation, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
Upon application, the Chief of Police for the Town of Goffstown is authorized to issue a permit to any applicant to install, maintain and operate upon property within the Town of Goffstown. Residents and business owners shall be accountable for violations of this ordinance.
