MOSQUITO SPRAYING Thursday, September 20, 2012
West Nile Virus & Eastern Equine Encephalitis has been found in mosquitoes trapped throughout Rockingham County and Hillsborough County. Spraying to control adult mosquitoes will take place at the Goffstown High School, Mountain View Middle School, Villa Augustina School, St Anselm College, Barnard Park, Roy Park, Sarette Fields and Lions Fields on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. People may not be present during spraying. The sites listed above are CLOSED on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5:30 PM until Friday September 21, 2012 at 5:00 AM. The insecticides Anvil 10+10 (sumithrin 10%), and CrossCheck (bifenthrin 7.9%) will be used to control adult mosquitoes. Spraying will be achieved using backpack sprayers and a truck mounted sprayer. No town wide road spraying is scheduled. Dragon Mosquito Control, Inc. of Brentwood will be the applicator.
