CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

AGENDA – WEDNESDAY– AUGUST 28, 2019

Plan Presentation:

Eversource Line Replacement for Poles on the K105 Transmission Line:

A Conditional Use Permit and Special Exception is required for the utility use/replacement of utility poles as per the Zoning Ordinance.  Eversource is requesting to replace utility poles that will occur within the 100’ WSWC District.  The location is around the Addison Road, Gold Finch Road, Tanager Road, Shirley Hill Road and to the Bedford line. This is part of the ongoing expansion of Transmission Line K105 that the Commission reviewed last year. (Recommendation needed to be forwarded to the Planning Board & the Zoning Board of Adjustment.)

Correction/Acceptance of the Minutes of June 26, 2019:

Appointment of Conservation Commission Member to the Glen Lake Waterfront Ad Hoc Committee.

Request from Namaske Lake Association for Reimbursement of $14,070.00 for Milfoil Treatment.  (Need to vote.)

Correspondence:

• Copy of second Violation letter sent to David & Diane Maxwell for debris on conservation land.
• Copy of Conservation Commission’s budget report.
• Copy of letter from VHB regarding routine maintenance to New England Power Company Electric Utility Right-of-Ways.
• Letter from NHDOT Regarding proposed roadway work to be done from Route 114/Danis Park to Shirley Park Lane.
• NHDES Forestry Notification for Map 4 Lot 45, Bog Road.
• Shoreline Permit by Notification for Eversource Gregg Substation.
• Copy of letter to Manchester Conservation Commission and Manchester Environmental Protection Division thanking them for the financial aid to Namakse Lake Association toward treatment of Milfoil.
• NH Town & City Magazine.
