WATER QUALITY ORDINANCE

In compliance with 41:14-b the Select Board announce Public Hearings on 06/28/21 and 07/12/21 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on the proposed ordinance entitled “WATER QUALITY ORDINANCE”. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available online at www.goffstown.com or in the Town Clerk’s Office. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on this ordinance on 07/26/21.

PUBLIC HEARINGS - Highway Safety (see description below)

NH RSA 41:14-b

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with NH RSA 41:14-b on 07/12/21 and 07/26/21 at 6:30 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on:

• Proposed ordinance entitled “Meadowlark Lane, Benjamin Drive, and Kimberly Lane Speed Limit ordinance” reducing speed on Meadowlark Lane, Benjamin Drive, and Kimberly Lane to 25 MPH.
• Proposed ordinance entitled “Juniper Drive Speed Limit ordinance” reducing speed on Juniper Drive to 25 MPH.
• Proposed ordinance entitled “Stop Sign on Higgins Street at the intersection of Cross Street ordinance” to install a stop sign on Higgins Street at intersection of Cross Street.
• Proposed ordinance entitled “Riverview Park Road Speed Limit ordinance” to change the speed limit on Riverview Park Road to 25 MPH.

Copies of the proposed ordinances are available online at www.goffstown.com or in the Town Clerk’s Office. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on this ordinance on 08/09/21.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

In compliance with RSA 41:14-a the Goffstown Select Board will conduct Public Hearings on 06/28/21 and 07/12/21 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH  to accept public input pertaining to accepting an executory interest in a 17-acre conservation easement being conveyed to the Piscataquog Land Conservancy on Map 7, Lots 88 and 88B, located on Snook Road. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on accepting an executory interest on 07/26/21.

DONATION OF SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS (RSA 31:95-E)

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with NH RSA 31:95-e on 07/12/21 at 7:00 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input about a proposed donation of sidewalk improvements on Laurier Street adjacent to properties identified as Tax Map 17, Lots 184-1 and 186. The sidewalk improvements being donated to the Town have an estimated value of $13,000 as part of the site plan for Ernie’s Excavation on
Tax Map 17, Lot 184-1.

DONATION OF RAIL TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS (RSA 31:95-E)

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with NH RSA 31:95-e on 07/12/21 at 7:05 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input about a proposed donation of Rail Trail improvement from the Friends of Goffstown Rail Trail, specifically for construction of 2,700 feet of rail trail between Henry Bridge Road and Danis Park Road behind the county complex having a worth of $16,610, as a result of a Recreational Trails Program grant from the NH Trails Bureau.
