PUBLIC HEARING

APPLICATION FOR AUTOMOTIVE RECYCLING YARD LICENSE (RSA 236:117)

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with NH RSA 236:117 on Monday, 08/08/2022 at 6:15 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on the application submitted by Force Five Automotive, LLC seeking a license to operate an automotive recycling yard under RSA 236:115, at the site of the facility currently operated by Herbert's Towing Inc., d/b/a Hebert's Used Auto Parts, at 516 Shirley Hill Road, on property owned by Shirley Hill, LLC.

TOWN OF GOFFSTOWN

PUBLIC HEARINGS

NH RSA 41:14-b

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing in accordance with NH RSA 41:14-b on 07/25/22 and 08/08/22 at 6:30 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on:

  • Proposed amendment to the “Rail Trail Ordinance” to clarify Class 1 and 2 E-Bikes (RSA 265:144-a, VII(a)) can be used on the Goffstown Rail Trail. The amendment also clarifies that Class 3 E-Bikes (RSA 265:144-a, VII (b)) are prohibited from use on the Goffstown Rail Trail.
  • Proposed ordinance entitled “Stephen Drive Speed Limit ordinance” reducing speed along the entire length of Stephen Drive to 25 MPH.
  • Proposed ordinance entitled “Maple Avenue Bus Entry Only During School Zone Hours ordinance” to promote a safer and more orderly flow of traffic on Elm Street at Maple Avenue during school zone hours. If enacted, vehicles, apart from school buses, will be restricted from entering Maple Avenue from Elm Street during school zone hours. If enacted, all vehicles, except for school buses, shall not enter onto Maple Avenue from Elm Street during school zone hours. School zone hours are defined in RSA 265:60 (II) a, as 45 minutes prior to each school opening and 45 minutes after each school closing.

TOWN OF GOFFSTOWN

PUBLIC HEARING

NH RSA 31:95-b

The Goffstown Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing (NH RSA 31:95-b) on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 6:45 p.m. at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to receive public input regarding the following unanticipated moneys:

  • The acceptance and expenditure by the Town of unanticipated money for municipal bridges. The amount to be distributed to the Town is $360,028.00. These funds shall be nonlapsing and shall not be used to supplant locally budgeted and approved funds for bridge maintenance or construction in accordance with NH Senate Bill 401 (Chapter 338:1, Laws of 2022, effective July 25, 2022).
  • The acceptance and expenditure by the Town of unanticipated money for road maintenance or construction. The amount to be distributed to the Town is $362,326.33. These funds shall be nonlapsing and shall not be used to supplant locally budgeted and approved funds for road maintenance or construction in accordance with NH Senate Bill 401 (Chapter 338:2, Laws of 2022, effective July 25, 2022).
