GOFFSTOWN ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday December 4, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mildred Stark Room (Room 106) in the Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH 03045 for the following applications:
Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the November 6, 2018 Meeting are available at the Zoning Department or online at http://www.goffstown.com/minutes.html
Public Hearings:
Andrew H. Sullivan, Esquire, Applicant, and Donna Burgess, Owner, are seeking the following: 1) Equitable Waiver or Variance to permit the existing detached garage (including staircase and deck) to remain 14.8 ft. from the side yard setback of Goffstown Back Road, whereas a minimum side yard setback of 25 ft. is required (at the time the building permit was issued in 2005, Jason Drive was considered the only road frontage). 2) A second Equitable Waiver or Variance is requested to permit the existing attached garage (including staircase and deck) to remain 1.7 ft. from the side yard (south side) setback, whereas 25 ft. is required. 3) Variance and a Special Exception to permit an existing Accessory Dwelling Unit that does not comply with the requirements under Section 5.2 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance to remain on the second floor of the detached garage. This concerns Sections 4.3, Table of Dimensional Regulations and 5.2 of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at 4 Jason Drive, (Map 6, Lot 24-31), Zoned: Agricultural (The request for a Variance and a Special Exception (request #3) is continued from the November 6, 2018 Zoning Board of Adjustment hearing. At their meeting held on November 6, 2018, the Board granted a Variance for the detached garage and attached garage (request #’s 1 & 2) to remain within the setbacks, exclusive of decks and stairs.)
