There will be a public hearing of the Goffstown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Tuesday March 5, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mildred Stark Room (Room 106) in the Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH 03045 for the following applications:

Public Hearings:

Sean and Jennifer McKenna, Owners, are seeking a Variance to replace an existing two-bedroom single-story home with a new two-bedroom 1 ¾ story (including elevated first floor in order to comply with FEMA requirements) within the existing building footprint.  A Variance is necessary to construct the new home approximately 5 ft. from the rear property boundary, whereas 30 ft. is required.  The property is located within the 100-Year Floodplain and the Regulatory Floodway.  This concerns Section 4.3, Table of Dimensional Regulations, of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The property is located at 124 Danis Park Road (Map 25, Lot 50), Zoned: Residential-2

Shelley Malone, Applicant and Joan Dewolf, LLC, Owner, are seeking a Special Exception to permit an office use in The Residential-1 District.  This concerns Section 3.11 (Table of Principal Uses), of the Goffstown Zoning Ordinance.  The Property is located at 8 Pleasant Street (Map 34, Lot 43), Zoned:  Residential-1.

James E.M. Coughlin, Jr., Trustee of Woodland Trust, Applicant, and Placid Woods, Owner, are seeking a time extension for a Special Exception initially granted on February 2, 2010 to allow multi-family housing on a lot in a Residential-1 District.  The project consists of subdividing the existing 68.23-acre lot into two lots and constructing 76 attached townhome style units in multiple buildings on a 37.11-acre lot with frontage on Bog Road. Section 3.11.A.3 of the Zoning Ordinance, Table of Principle Uses, lists multi-family as a use permitted by Special Exception.  The property is located off Mountain Road and Bog Road (Map 4, Lot 87-6) in a Residential-1 District.  Special Exceptions expire after two years from the date of approval if active and substantial development has not been accomplished.  A previous time extension was approved in March of 2017 and is scheduled to expire.

Alan Yeaton, Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment
