              CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

AGENDA – WEDNESDAY– AUGUST 26, 2020

In accordance with the Governor’s Emergency Order #12, Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, the Conservation Commission will utilize the emergency meeting provisions of RSA 91-A to conduct meetings through electronic means while preserving, to the extent feasible, the public's right to notice of such meetings and ability to observe and listen contemporaneously. Plan Presentations:

Map 36, Lot 79, Review of Shoreland Permit Application for Joseph Morrill 178 Elm Street, for Installation of drainage pipe and walkway/patio within the Shoreland of Glen Lake.  Property is Zoned: Residential-1

Map 42, Lot 66, Jeanne H. Gale Revocable Trust, seeking Relief of the Outer 50’ of the 100’ Wetland Surface Water Conservation District Buffer to raze existing seasonal camp and build a single-family year round residence, along with removal of two trees and associated improvements.  Also being requested is a Variance for disturbances within the inner 50’ of the 100’ Wetlands Surface Water Conservation District Buffer that are associated with the construction of the single-family home. Property is located on 43 McFarland Road, a Class VI Road, Zoned:  Agricultural & WSWC District Overlay. (A recommendation needs to be forwarded to both the Planning Board and the ZBA.)

Public Hearing:

In accordance with RSA 36-A:5, the Goffstown Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing  to receive public comment pertinent to expending conservation funds to purchase Map 8, Lot 13B (located off Stinson Road), a 34.50-acre parcel, to conserve land bordering Paige Hill Marsh, a Town designated Prime Wetland. 

Correction/Acceptance of the Minutes of July 22, 2020:

Correspondence:

1)  Letter to Joey Boucher thanking him for his service as a Conservation Commission member.

2)  Copy of Letter from NHDES regarding Minimum Expedited Permit for May 21, Lot 65, 35 Bay Street.

     (Conservation Commision reviewed and recommended at their July 22nd Meeting.)

3)  Copy of NHDES Permit for Driveway Culvert located at Lindsey Way, Map 9 Lot 4-38-2.

4)  Copy of Letter of Support from the Conservation Commission to NHDES for ARM Grant funding for   

     Conservation Easement on m=Map 7 Lot 91A, for 37-acres on the Burnes property off Snook Road.

5)  Copy of Conservation Commission Budget.
