GOFFSTOWN – The Department of Public Works announces the construction of the DPW Water Main Extension along Elm St. into the Transfer Station driveway starting Monday, May 13th through the end of June.  The contractor, J.P. Cardillo & Son, Inc. will keep the road open with alternating one-way traffic for vehicles needing access within the work zone. Long delays should be expected 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday – Friday.  A detour is being set up via Paige Hill Road and Locust Hill Road to reduce congestion through the work zone. Thru traffic is encouraged to seek alternate routes. DPW will send out a separate alert when a complete road closure is required.
