POSITION TITLE: Director of Public Works

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Town of Goffstown, NH (pop. 18,000) seeks an innovative Public Works Director to oversee a department of 34 full-time employees and 13 part-time/seasonal employees with an operating budget of $5 million-plus capital projects. Director performs highly responsible administrative and technical work in directing the operations of highway, stormwater, engineering, fleet, cemeteries, and sewer maintenance divisions. Bachelor’s degree in management, public administration, civil engineering or a related field, with ten years progressively responsible experience in the public works field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PE license preferred. The Town of Goffstown offers a competitive benefits plan and starting salary range is between $80,000 – $95,000 DOQ.
