CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

AGENDA – WEDNESDAY– MAY 24, 2023

GOFFSTOWN TOWN HALL – 16 MAIN STREET – LOWER LEVEL, ROOM 106 - 7:00 P.M.

Public Hearing:

In accordance with RSA 36-A:5, the Goffstown Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive public comment pertinent to expending conservation funds for the purchase and administrative costs associated with the conveyance of conservation easement deeds on 2 parcels located on Pattee Hill Road, Map 10, Lots 3, and 3-1, and 5 parcels located on Paige Hill Road, Map 11, Lots 1, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5 and 1-6, to the Piscataquog Land Conservancy. The easements will conserve land protecting the Harry Brook Tributary Marsh, a designated Prime Wetland, conserve working farm lands and preserve an important viewshed along the General John Stark Scenic Byway.

Plan Review & Request for Recommendation to be Forwarded to the Planning Board:

Map 35, Lot 52, Request for Relief of the Outer 50’ of the 100’ Wetland Surface Conservation (WSWC) District Buffer for a proposal to raze and rebuild a single-family home that will be approximately 68’ and 71’ from Glen Lake, a designated surface water, whereas a 100’ setback is required. The property is located at 142 Elm Street, owned by Kathleen Ann & Srdjan Ilic, Zoned: Residential-1.

Public Service of New Hampshire dba Eversource Energy, Easement Owner, Conditional Use Permit Request for a proposal to replace overhead electric utility structures along the existing J114 Transmission Line
as part of an ongoing rebuild project. Some of the new/replacement structures and site improvements will be located within the Wetland Surface Water Conservation District. The Easement area is located off Elm Street (Map 5, Lots 16, 18A, 19, 19-1 & 20) and Goffstown Back Road (Map 6, Lots 26-1 & 79), Zoned: Residential-1, Agricultural, Wetlands & Surface Water Conservation (WSWC) Overlay District, and the Flood Hazard Overlay District.
