Currently, there are two School Resource Officers (SROs) in the Goffstown School District: one at the Goffstown Area High School and the other at Mountain View Middle School. The two SROs share responsibilities for the other schools in town and visit them as needed.  

Having SROs in the schools and interacting with the student body is very important for students and faculty alike. It gives them a resource that they are familiar and comfortable with to discuss concerning topics. The SROs have had specialized training to work in the schools with the students. They are also often tasked with teaching different topics to both the students and staff.
