This is an instructional/fundamental program with lowered basketball hoops (8.5’) for both girls and boys in 1st and 2nd grade. We will focus on fundamentals, fun, and the understanding of the game. We will take a maximum of 80 players with 10 players on each team. Once the season begins, we will have a 30-minute practice followed by a 30-minute game each Sunday at Mountain View Middle School. Program will last for 9 weeks weather permitting.

The league begins with an evaluation clinic on December 3rd. During this time, we evaluate each of the players’ basketball abilities so that teams can be created as equally as possible. This is not a tryout but rather a chance for us to gauge who possesses what skills in basketball. There is no experience necessary for this league. Please come to this clinic with your child properly equipped and ready to play. They will not need any personal equipment; basketballs will be supplied. Attire should include comfortable active wear and sneakers or basketball shoes and water.
