Growin' Grizzlies
Growin’ Grizzlies is Goffstown Parks and Recreation’s coed kindergarten sports program. Throughout the year, we offer different sport programs to introduce young kids to the exciting world of sports. Each program will run for 5 weeks, with morning and afternoon sessions being offered. During those 5 weeks your child will participate in fun drills and games to help introduce basic skills of the sport to them, all while being immersed in a social atmosphere. These programs are free for Goffstown residents.

This is an exciting class to keep children in Kindergarten active during the spring as well as working on social interaction skills. We will be playing a different game or activity every Tuesday for 5 weeks. Class is limited to 10 participants per session and will begin April 6th. Some classes will be inside the gym and some will be outside depending on the weather!

Growin’ Grizzlies Basketball
This program is the perfect introduction into our larger scale basketball program. Participants will learn the basic skills of basketball such as dribbling, passing, and shooting (on lowered hoops, of course!) as well as social interaction skills. This class takes place on Tuesdays with a morning and afternoon session, the class is limited to 10 participants per session. No experience or equipment necessary. It takes place on Tuesdays inside the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S. Mast. St.

This is an exciting class to introduce basic floor hockey skills to kindergarten age kids. Cooperative play and social interaction skills are focused on as well. This class takes place on Tuesdays with a morning and afternoon session, the class is limited to 10 participants per session. No experience or equipment necessary. It takes place inside the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S. Mast St. Goffstown.

In this class, we work to introduce basic soccer skills in a fun environment. We will develop kicking, dribbling, passing, fundamentals of the game as well as social interaction skills. No experience or equipment necessary. This class takes place on Tuesdays with a morning and afternoon session, the class is limited to 10 participants per session. It takes place outside of the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S. Mast. St. Goffstown. Rainy day classes will take place inside.
