Parking Passes 2019-2020 School Year – SOLD OUT

For the 2019-2020 school year parking pass for high school students will be done through our online RecDesk system. They are currently sold out, but you do have the option to add yourself to a wait list should a spot become available.

  • You must be 16 with a valid driver's license at the time that you register.

  • There are only 35 spots up for grabs, 10 will be at the Rec Building and the remaining 25 will be at Barnard Park.

Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer Programs

Grownin’ Grizzlies:

This is an exciting coed class to introduce the basic soccer skills to children in Kindergarten. We will develop kicking, passing, fundamentals of the game as well as social interaction skills.  This class will take place on Tuesday with a morning and afternoon session, class is limited to 10 participants per session. It will be free and held at the Parks and Recreation building.

Youth Soccer—Boys and Girls Grades 1-4:

This program will teach the fundamentals of the game through fun games, skill building activities and competitions.  We will also focus on good sportsmanship and having fun.  1st & 2nd grades will meet Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 and 3rd & 4th grades will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30. This program is coed and will last for 6 weeks. It is free and will be held at Roy Park.

Upcoming Events

46th Annual Senior Citizen Dinner

Goffstown Parks and Recreation is proud to sponsor the 46th annual Senior Citizen Dinner. All Goffstown seniors (age 55+) are welcome to join us at Stark Hall on the backside of the Congregational Church in the center of town.  A roast beef dinner will be served along with coffee and dessert. Tickets for the dinner can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S Mast St. This event will take place on October 3rd, 2019 at 5pm.

42nd Annual Great Pumpkin Hunt

During Goffstown’s annual Pumpkin Regatta (October 19th and 20th) Goffstown Parks and Recreation will have our Great Pumpkin Hunt. Participants of all ages can search around town at parks, schools, the library, and the center village to find pumpkins marked with our tag. Once a tag is found it can be brought to the Parks and Recreation booth to be redeemed for a bag of candy!

Growin’ Grizzlies Soccer

Open Registrations

Men’s 18+ Basketball League

This is a competitive basketball program for men ages 18 and older. Games will take place on Thursday evenings at Mountain View Middle School (Sunday dates could possibly be added based on need). All participants will be assigned to a team with a schedule of 12 regular season games, the schedule will start in October and run through February. The first open gym will take place on 10/10 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Mountain View Middle School.

Upcoming Registrations

Activity Period – Registration begins 10/1

Activity Period is a fun filled program where we will play traditional and non-traditional gym games in a fun filled atmosphere. Games will include Floor Hockey, Kickball, Dodgeball, Wiffle Ball, White Knight and many more. This program is available for grades 1-2 and 3-4. Activity period will take place after school, once per week, for 10 weeks. Space is limited to 20 participants per age grouping and it is free for Goffstown Residents.

Growin’ Grizzlies Floor Hockey – Registration begins 10/1

This is an instructional program for children in Kindergarten and will teach the fundamentals of floor hockey. This program is co-ed and will be held at the Parks and Recreation building on Tuesday’s. There will be a morning session and an afternoon session. Space is limited to 10 participants per session, it is free for Goffstown residents.

Basketball All Ages – Registration begins 10/1

Goffstown Parks and Recreation offers fun and instructional yet competitive basketball programs for all kids from grades 1-12. Participants can register for their age group through RecDesk. Information on schedules, fees, and more can be found under the parks and recreation programs tab or on RecDesk.


MTA Transportation for Goffstown Residents

General rides are available to all Goffstown residents, but priority rides go to those age 62+ or those who are disabled. Medical appointments are also considered priority rides. You can make a reservation as early as one week prior, and no later than 24 hours prior. Connect with MTA Route #6 at Shaw’s Plaza for Manchester, Concord, and Nashua service.

For appointments: Provide the address information for pick-up and drop-off location. Date and time requested will be provided with a 30-minute pick-up window. Passengers will need to provide purpose of the ride and may ride with a companion or children.
