The Tirrell Hill Road Reclamation Project Phase 1 from Center Street to #67 Tirrell Hill Road will begin soon. Work will include new drainage, tree cutting, grading, and paving. Traffic will be one way alternating at the time so please expect delays and use caution. Work may start and stop based on the weather during this winter construction season. DPW crews will be focusing on snow clearing operations during and after each storm.
The goal for construction this winter season is to resolve some constant icing issues on this section of road and repair some failing pipes. The road will be finished and paved this spring/ early summer.
Project updates and photos will be added to this web page and on the Goffstown DPW Facebook page.
If you have any project questions please contact Meghan Theriault, 497-8990 x 280 or call (603) 497-3617 ext.280
UPDATE 3/28/19 - DPW has been back on site more often now that the weather is warming up. The crew is wrapping up the drainage on the upper portion of the hill and will most likely move to the bottom of the hill next to complete the remaining drainage installation from the Center Street intersection up. Reclamation of the road is not scheduled yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
