American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Projects

 PINERIDGE STREET DRAINAGE PROJECT

Construction Update 8/10/12 - The project has been completed.  All areas have been loamed and seeded.  Contractor will have construction signs removed by the end of the day today.  Post construction surveys will be sent out to residents on Monday.

Construction Update 8/3/12 - Contractor has completed all paving work associated with the project.  The contractor began cleaning up the shoulder and resident's yards this week.  The contractor will loam and seed disturbed areas beginning next week.  Landscaping is still scheduled to be installed Wedneday, August 8th.  The road continues to be swept and cleaned at the end of each week.  The contractor still hopes to be out of the area by Thursday, August 9th.

Construction Update 7/27/12 - Contractor has completed all drainage associated with this project.  The contractor will begin cleanup and pavement prep work on Monday.  Paving is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 2nd.  Landscaping is tentatively scheduled to be installed Wednesday, August 8th.  The road continues to be swept and cleaned at the end of each week.  Contractor will place calcium on all disturbed areas to control dust in the area.  At this point the contractor is ahead of schedule.  The contractor hopes to be out of the area by Thursday, August 9th.

Construction Update 7/20/12 - Contractor has completed drainage pipe between DMH #2 and CB #9.  This is about 201 LF of Perf. HDPE pipe.  CB #9 has been installed.  An updated construction schedule has been posted online.  The contractor still plans to finish sometime mid-August.  There was a slight delay due to a sewer service conflict.  This does not affect the schedule since the contractor was ahead of schedule at this point.  The road continues to be swept and cleaned at the end of each week. Contractor will place calcium on all disturbed areas to control dust in the area.

Construction Update 7/13/12 - Contractor finished drainage pipe between CB#4 and existing CB.  Both frames and grates were raised to grade.  Contractor installed DMH #2 & #3.  Drainage pipe between DMH #3 and existing DMH have been completed.  Contractor cleaned up area at East Union and within Town R.O.W. Loaming and seeding will be completed near the end of the project.  The road will be swept and cleaned at the end of each week.  Contractor will also place calcium on all disturbed areas to control dust in the area.  At this point it appears the contractor is ahead of schedule.

Construction Update 7/6/12 - Contractor has completed drainage installation from DMH #7 to CB #4.  That is about 264 LF of HDPE solid pipe.  The contractor plans to finish the connection between CB #4 and the existing CB on S. Mast on Monday.  The road will be swept and cleaned at the end of each week.  Contractor will also place calcium on all distubed areas to control dust in the area.  The contractor is still on schedule.

Construction Update - 6/29/12 - Contractor has completed drainage installation from existing DMH to DMH #7.  That is about 85 LF of HDPE solid pipe.  Contractor has begun drainage installation within the Town R.O.W. from DMW #7 to CB#4.  They have installed approx. 135 LF of pipe this week. The road will be swept and cleaned  at the end of each week.  Contractor will also place calcium on all disturbed areas to control dust in the area.  The contractor is still on schedule.

Construction Update 6/22/12 - Contractor began drainage construction at the existing DMH on East Union Street and is setting the drainage pipe to proposed DMH#7.  They have currently installed 60 LF of HDPE solid pipe.  The road will be swept and cleaned at the end of each week.  Calcium will also be placed on all disturbed areas to control the dust. 

Construction Update 6/20/12 - Contractor began mobilizing to site.  HDPE Pipe, steel boxes for contruction, and equipment have been delivered to site.  Construction signs are scheduled for installation today.  Drainage construction work is scheduled to begin tomorrow on East Union.  Please see Traffic Alert for further details regarding East Union Street Road Closure.

Construction Update 4/25/12 - Contract has been awarded to C.S.S.I.  Pre-construction meeting is scheduled for next week.

Construction Update 6/6/12 - Pre-Construction meeting and site walk-thru have been completed.  Contractor is scheduled to start June 20th, 2012.
