Position: Full Time HR Coordinator
Schedule: 40hrs/week, Monday - Friday, 8:00-4:00
Wages: Labor Grade 10 – $30.88 - $44.71 (max)
Salary depending on qualifications
Duties:

The Human Resources Coordinator shall plan, organize, and coordinate the Town’s benefit programs, assist with recruitment and labor relations. Provide guidance for adherence to all labor laws and personnel record keeping.

Work closely with all Department Heads to develop policies and procedures that optimize productivity, accountability and employee satisfaction.

Provides guidance to Department Heads on all personnel matters, including investigating, responding to, and documenting employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and arbitrator decisions.

Coordinates, conducts, or assists with any applicable pre-employment interviews, screening, or testing, as may be required. Completes onboarding process for all new hires and performs exit interviews for all terminating employees (full-time & part-time).
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in personnel administration. A thorough working knowledge of public sector personnel practices and applicable state and federal laws.

Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.

Valid NH driver’s license.
